Man arrested after domestic disturbance in Labrador

The RNC responded to a report of a domestic disturbance in Western Labrador on Friday evening.

Responding officers spoke with the male who was heavily intoxicated, being a nuisance and very uncooperative with police.

The suspect was irate and aggressive and assaulted the police, resisting arrest, and uttering threats to cause bodily harm.

The 38-year-old was charged with resisting arrest, assaulting a police officer, uttering threats, and breach of probation.

The accused was taken into custody and held to appear in court.
