Man arrested after breaking into cars in downtown St. John's

At about 1:45 a.m. this morning, the RNC were flagged down by a member of the public and advised of a male breaking into a vehicle in the downtown area parking garage.

Police located the 26 year old male inside a vehicle and he was placed under arrest.

The male was charged with three counts of Mischief and one count of Breaching his Release Order.

The male was held at the St. John’s city lockup for a morning court appearance.
