Man arrested after break and enter in downtown St. John’s

A 30-year-old man was arrested early Friday morning following a reported break and enter in downtown St. John’s.

The RNC responded to a call of a break and enter in progress at about 6 a.m. on Jan. 17. Officers arrived at the scene and located the suspect inside a residence.

The man was taken into custody and transported to the St. John’s City lockup, where he was held for court.

He is charged with break and enter, public mischief and breach of a probation order.
