Man arrested after break and enter during domestic disturbance in St. John’s

A 60-year-old man was arrested following a reported domestic disturbance in St. John’s on Saturday night.

RNC officers responded to the Topsail Road area around 9:23 p.m. after receiving a report of a disturbance in progress.

Police say a complainant reported that her former partner had broken into her home. Officers attended the residence, where the man was located and arrested.

He has been charged with break and enter and was held in custody to appear in court.
