Man arrested after assault with a weapon in St. John's

On Thursday evening, the RNC responded to a call of unknown trouble at a residence in the west end area of St. John’s.

After conducting an investigation, a 27-year-old male was arrested and charged with uttering threats, assault with a weapon and breach of probation.

The male was held in custody awaiting a court appearance.
