Man arrested after assault with a weapon at home in Corner Brook

On Monday the RNC in Corner Brook responded to an assault allegation at a home on Riverhead Road, in Corner Brook.

As a result of the call, a 42-year-old male has been charged with assault, assault with a weapon, assault causing bodily harm, and break and enter with intent to commit an indictable offence.

There were two alleged victims, a female age 41, and a male age 17. Both suffered minor injuries.

The accused was arrested and held to appear in court.
