A 29-year-old man was arrested early Monday morning following reports of suspicious and threatening behavior in a residential neighborhood.

At approximately 12:17 a.m., RNC responded to a call regarding a man knocking on doors and attempting to enter homes in the Queens Road area. According to police, when residents refused to let the man inside, he allegedly made threats to cause them bodily harm.

Officers launched an immediate investigation and located the suspect near Carters Hill. He was taken into custody without incident.

The man is facing charges of uttering threats and breaching conditions of a previously issued release order. He was transported to the city lockup and remains in custody pending a court appearance.
