Male sustains minor injuries following vehicle-cyclist collision in west-end St John's, Sunday night

A cyclist sustained minor injuries following a collision between a SUV and an Electric Bike, Sunday night.

Emergency crews responded to the scene, at the intersection of Blackmarsh Road and Mercers Lane, shortly after 9:30 p.m.. A vehicle and e-bike had collided, knocking the cyclist to the ground. The male was helped and taken to awaiting ambulance with injuries believed to be minor.

A portion of the intersection was closed as personnel attended the scene
