Major increases in fuel prices

Customers will be paying a lot more to fill up today. Gas increased by 8.2 cents per litre. Diesel on the Island increased by up to 11.1 cents. Diesel in western Labrador jumped 11.1 cents.

Furnace oil heating fuel on the Island increased by 9.58 cents per litre, and stove oil heating fuel in western Labrador will increase by 9.66 cents per litre.

These changes are based on the most recently available market data as of the close of business on September 10.

The Board’s next price adjustment is on Tuesday, September 15.
