Major fire at boat shop in Springdale

First responders responded to a major structural fire involving Yates Boat Shop on Corporal Bouzane Boulevard in Springdale on Wednesday night.
The road runs parallel to Little Bay Road, the main street in the community. As a result of the fire, both roads we impassable for several hours as fire hoses were crossing the streets to allow firefighters to battle the blaze.
People were asked to avoid the area.
The building is next to a seniors complex.
