Light pole knocked down after overnight single-vehicle crash in St John's
A single-vehicle crash near St. John's International Airport left a light pole in ruins in the early morning hours on Thursday.
The incident occurred on Portugal Cove Road between World Parkway and Craig Dobbin Way, shortly after 12:00 a.m. the pickup truck went off the road and into a light pole knocking it down.
The vehicle sustained significant damage but the occupant(s), were checked at the scene by NL Health Services (NLHS) Paramedics and reportedly were not taken to hospital.
