Lieutenant Governor’s Garden Party taking place today

Today is the annual Lieutenant Governor’s Garden Party.

The party, a long running traditional summer gathering, will take place on the grounds of Government House in St. John’s.

This year also marks the 100th anniversary of the Royal Canadian Legion, and the Garden Party will be recognizing veterans and the Legion.

The event gets underway at 2:00 p.m. and concludes at 5:00 p.m.
