In Newfoundland and Labrador as of 11:00 am Wednesday, March 18, there are 3 presumptive positive cases.

Across Canada, there are 569 confirmed cases and 26 probable cases.

Of these cases, 32% are 60 years old and over, 12% of cases have been hospitalized.

Eight people have died of COVID-19 in Canada.

74% of cases are travellers and 11% are close contacts of travellers.

The Government of Canada has advised Canadians to curtail non-essential international travel.
