Large increases in diesel and furnace oil

The cost of gasoline has dropped by 1.6 cents per litre. On the Island, diesel increased by up to 10.3 cents per litre, while diesel in western Labrador increased by 10.0 cents.

Furnace oil on the Island is up by 8.95 cents per litre, while stove oil heating fuel in western Labrador went up by 8.67 cents.

Propane heating fuel increased by 0.6 cents.

These changes are based on the most recently available average market data as of the close of business on September 9.

The Board’s next price adjustment is on Saturday, September 12.
