Kids in the Know Body Safety Program available to K-9 educators

A new safety program known as "Kids in the Know" will be available in all K-9 classrooms in Newfoundland and Labrador this year.

Kids in the Know is the Canadian Centre for Child Protection’s national safety education program. The program engages students with interactive activities to help build skills that increase personal safety and reduce the risk of victimization online and offline.

Kids in the Know is currently offered in all K-3 classrooms in the province.

Professional learning for educators for grades 4-9 will occur this October.
