Keith Russell leaves PC caucus to sit as independent

The Lake Melville MHA Keith Russell has left the Progressive Conservative party.

Russell made the announcement in the House of Assembly this morning.

He will now sit as an independent member.

He was first elected in 2011. He was serving as the Parliamentary Secretary to the Minister of Indigenous Relations and Reconciliation until he crossed the floor today.
