Judicial recount to take place on Tuesday for Topsail-Paradise

On Friday, the Supreme Court of Newfoundland and Labrador granted a judicial recount for the electoral district of Topsail-Paradise, arising from the October 14 Provincial General Election.

The recount will take place at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, November 18, at the Supreme Court in St. John’s.

The judge will certify the results to the Returning Officer of the electoral district of Topsail-Paradise, who will then declare the candidate with the greatest number of votes to be elected.

Results will be announced within two days after the recount or final addition.
