Job Fair for Ukrainians on Thursday

There will be a job fair for Ukrainians on Thursday at CNA on Prince Philip Drive in St. John's.

Employers with an interest in hiring Ukrainian newcomers are asked to register for the job fair. The job fair is hosted by the provincial government and the Association for New Canadians.

This is the first job fair organized for Ukrainian newcomers. The job fair will feature morning, afternoon and online sessions to accommodate employers and interested participants.

Employers looking to attend in-person will be grouped by industry sector and informed whether they are to attend in the morning or afternoon.

Several organizations and businesses have already hired Ukrainians including Eastern Health, Cyno, Gannett Construction, Rambler Mines, Mary Brown’s, PAL Airlines, Power and Associates, EVOO, Atlantic Grocery Distribution, and Gittens Law.
