Infrastructure Upgrades Slated for two schools

The provincial government has awarded contracts totalling approximately $2.4 million for renovations to two schools.
A contract for $1.45 million has been awarded to Eastern Contracting Limited for the replacement of windows and doors at Macdonald Drive Elementary in St. John’s.
In Labrador, a contract valued at $938,481 has been awarded to Pittman’s Enterprises Limited for renovations at St. Mary’s All Grade School in Mary’s Harbour.
Budget 2023 included funding for new schools and health care facilities.
