Individual arrested after theft from Village Mall

A security officer at the Village Mall shopping centre approached an RNC officer on Sunday afternoon and pointed out a male suspect who had stolen merchandise from a store.

After a short foot pursuit, the officer was able to take the 39-year-old male into custody.

The male had an outstanding arrest warrant for failure to attend court. He was charged with; theft, resisting arrest and failure to attend court. The male was held for court.
