In-person Service Canada Centres Closed

Due to the COVID-19 outbreak in-person assistance at Service Canada Centres has been discontinued.

Minister of Families, Children and Social Development Ahmed Hussen said that "Canadians will still be able to access their benefits. The best way to apply remains online."

Employees at Service Canada sites will turn their attention to serving Canadians over the phone.

Citizen Service Officers will be providing personalized service support for EI and pensions applications, in addition to the services provided over the phone by call centres.
