Impaired driver crashes vehicle on the Outer Ring Road

Just after 1:00 a.m. on Friday, the RNC and St. John's Regional Fire Department responded to an accident on the Outer Ring Road in St John’s.

The single vehicle crash resulted in no injuries to the single occupant.

Police determined that the 21-year-old driver was under the influence of alcohol, and he was arrested for impaired driving. After further investigation, he was charged with impaired driving and operating over .80 mg/ml.

He was released for a future court date.
