Impaired driver crashes into snowbank in Corner Brook
The RNC responded to a report of a speeding vehicle that just crashed into a snowbank in the area of Main Street in Corner Brook on Friday night.
Officers attended the scene and spoke with the driver who showed signs of impairment. The Approved Screening Device was administered which the driver failed.
The 37-year-old female driver was then brought back to RNC Headquarters and a sample of breath was again provided for analysis. The result from this sample was a fail and the female was charged with Impaired Operation of a Motor Vehicle.
The driver’s vehicle was impounded and she was released to appear in court at a later date.
