A 35-year-old man is facing impaired driving charges after police were flagged down early Saturday morning to help with a vehicle stuck in a snowbank in Conception Bay South.
Police say the incident happened around 2:15 a.m. on March 14, 2026, when officers were approached by someone requesting assistance for a vehicle that had become stuck.
When officers arrived, they determined the driver was impaired. The man was arrested and charged with impaired driving and driving with a blood-alcohol level over the legal limit.
He was later released from custody and is scheduled to appear in court at a later date.
