Impaired driver causes collision in Middle Cove

Saturday evening the RNC responded to a three vehicle collision in the Town Middle Cove.

Police learned a male driver who cause the collision was reported as impaired by two other witnesses at the scene.

He was arrested and conveyed back to police headquarters where he provided two breath samples.

The male provided a breath samples of 210 milligrams of alcohol in 100 milliliters of blood and 220 milligrams of alcohol in 100 milliliters of blood on the second sample.

The 46 year old male was charged with Impaired Driving and Impaired Driving with 0.08.
