Impaired driver arrested in Victoria

On Friday evening the RCMP responded to a report of an impaired driver operating an ATV in Victoria.

While making a patrol in the area, police located the driver. The 60-year-old operator showed signs of alcohol impairment.

The accused was arrested for impaired driving and was transported to the detachment where he provided breath samples more than twice the legal limit.

He was released from custody and is scheduled to appear in court at a later date.

The man was also arrested for impaired driving stemming from a traffic stop in July of 2021.
