Impaired driver arrested in St. John's

Overnight RNC officers conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle in the west end of St. John’s.

The officer believed the male driver was under the influence of alcohol and after a brief investigation, the driver was brought back to the police station to provide breath samples.

The 37-year-old male was charged with impaired driving and released to appear in court at a later date.

His vehicle was also impounded.
