Impaired Driver arrested in Sheshatshiu following tip

On Saturday the RCMP arrested a man for suspected impaired driving in Sheshatshiu.

After receiving a tip from the public police conducted a patrol and located the vehicle. The man showed signs of alcohol impairment and failed a roadside breath test.

He provided breath samples that were above the legal limit.

The driver was released from custody and is scheduled to attend court at a later date.

His driver’s licence was suspended and the vehicle was seized and impounded.
