Impaired driver arrested in Corner Brook

Corner Brook RNC responded to a report of a possible impaired driver early on Sunday morning.

Police had received a report of an impaired driver on West Street. The suspect vehicle was located shortly after in the area of Griffin Drive.

A 37-year-old male was arrested for impaired driving and impaired over 80 mg of alcohol per 100 ml of blood.

As a result, the accused’s licence was suspended, and his vehicle was impounded.

The man was released to appear in court at a later date.
