A 45-year-old woman has been arrested for impaired operation of an ATV after Hopedale RCMP conducted a traffic stop on Saturday evening.
An officer on patrol conducted a traffic stop after seeing the ATV being driven slowly down the middle of Carpenter’s Drive.
The woman showed signs of alcohol impairment and was subsequently arrested for impaired operation. She provided two breath samples that were nearly three times the legal limit.
The woman wasn’t licensed, and her ATV was removed from the roadway.
She will appear in court in November to answer to the charge of impaired driving.
