Hunters asked to be mindful of Caribou with collars while hunting

Officials with the Department of Fisheries, Forestry and Agriculture continue to fit a small number of caribou with satellite collars and ear tags.

Hunters are asked to avoid harvesting collared caribou when possible. If a hunter were to harvest a caribou with a collar, they are asked to return the collar to the Wildlife Division so the data can be retrieved.
