How to discard your Christmas Tree in St. John's

The City of St. John's will operate two locations for dropping off Christmas Trees.

Only natural, undecorated trees are accepted as they will be mulched for use in landscaping projects in City parks and open spaces. The trees are not to be bundled or tied.

At Quidi Vidi Lake, the large gravel parking lot off The Boulevard will be open starting today until Sunday, Jan. 11, excluding December 31 and January 1.

The second location is the Robin Hood Bay Residential Drop-Off, which will be open Tuesdays to Saturdays from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. except on statutory holidays.
