House of Assembly to resume Monday with Speech from the Throne

The House of Assembly of Newfoundland and Labrador will resume for its spring sitting on March 2.

Lt.-Gov. Joan Marie J. Aylward will deliver the Speech from the Throne at 2 p.m., officially opening the first session of the 51st General Assembly. The ceremony is by invitation only.

The event will be broadcast live on the legislature’s television channel and streamed on its website and social media platforms.
