HMP Inmate Charged With Assault

The Royal Newfoundland Constabulary has charged an inmate following an altercation at Her Majesty’s Penitentiary.

Last Tuesday, correctional officers reported that a fight had occurred and an inmate sustained injuries that required medical treatment.

The RNC charged 38-year-old Philip Pynn with assault and choking.

Pynn remains in custody and appeared in court today.
