Hit and Run suspect arrested in Goulds
On Saturday afternoon RNC officers patrolling in the Goulds were flagged down by a hit and run victim.
Officers checked the area and located the run vehicle a short time later.
When the officers spoke to the driver they suspected him to be under the influence of alcohol and he was transported to the RNC Office in Mount Pearl for the breathalyzer.
The 66-year-old male is charged with refusing the breathalyzer and impaired driving. The vehicle was impounded and the driver was released to appear in court at a later date.
