Grand Falls-Windsor RCMP investigates arson at pumping station

RCMP in Grand Falls-Windsor is investigating an arson that occurred at one of the town’s pumping stations on Monday evening.

Police were alerted to a fire at the pumping station on Maloney Street. Damage caused by the fire was extensive and, as a result, the pump is no longer operable.

A fire scene investigator with Fire and Emergency Services attended the scene on Tuesday and determined the fire was intentionally set.
