Governments Observing Day for Truth and Reconciliation

Today federal, provincial, and municipal buildings will be closed to observe the Day for Truth and Reconciliation.

The day is a time to honour survivors and raise awareness about the legacy of residential schools in Canada.

Today is also observed as Orange Shirt Day.

Government offices, schools and other entities will be closed.
