Government Supports Tech Startup Developing Smart Accounting Workflow Automation System

Minister of Industry, Energy and Technology Andrew Parsons has announced support for a St. John’s financial tech company which is bringing machine learning innovation to its accounting intelligence and workflow automation software.

Keen Payroll and Staffing will receive $284,000 from the Provincial Government for improvements to its MyKeen Financial Platform.

Keen intends to demonstrate the technical feasibility of these innovations, assess their integration with existing software, and evaluate their impact on user experience and client service quality. This project will validate the integration of machine learning and artificial intelligence within the platform to enhance financial predictions and client communication, with the goal of delivering a competitive product for the accounting industry.

This provincial investment helps leverage a $395,000 investment from the applicant.
