Government seeking proposals for Multiculturalism Grant Program

The provincial government is seeking proposals for the Newfoundland and Labrador Multiculturalism Grant Program.

This year the program will be expanded to cultural organizations to showcase and share their diversity.

Eligible applicants include cultural groups and associations, established non-profit community organizations, municipal governments, public entities such as schools, and non-governmental entities such as regional development authorities.

The province has a goal of welcoming 5,100 newcomers annually by 2026. The strategy also focuses on retention.
