Government providing funding for accessible transportation through vehicle funding

Funding has been announced for the 2025-26 Accessible Vehicle Grants program.

A total of $350,000 has been awarded to 14 successful applicants. Under the program, grants provide up to $50,000 to eligible individuals and families to modify personal vehicles for accessibility.

Including the 2025-26 recipients, a total of 93 individuals and their families have benefited from this funding since 2020.

Accessible vehicles help persons with disabilities receive the social, economic and health-related benefits associated with being active and engaged members of their communities.
