Government launches crime dashboard

The Provincial Government has launched an interactive crime dashboard which provides a detailed overview of the province’s statistical crime data.

The RNC and RCMP provided access to crime statistics for every community throughout the province.

The data for the crime dashboard will be sourced annually from Statistics Canada's police-reported crime statistics. The crime dashboard includes data from each of the province’s 45 police detachments, for the following: actual incidents of crime, crime rate, Crime Severity Index, crimes against persons, crimes against property, Criminal Code traffic violations, and other Criminal Code violations.
