Government approves first ride-sharing service

The province has its first ride-sharing company.

The Provincial Government has approved Redsea Riding to offer ride-sharing services.

Locally owned and operated by Yosief Tesfamicael, Redsea Riding currently employs 10 drivers and is actively recruiting more.

The ride-sharing company is aiming to be open for business in the coming months.

The company will begin by offering its services in the St. John’s metro area, including St. John’s, Mount Pearl, Paradise, Conception Bay South, Torbay, Pouch Cove, Portugal Cove-St. Philip’s and Flatrock.
