Government Announces Funding for 2026 Royal St. John’s Regatta

The Provincial Government announced $55,000 in funding to support the 2026 Royal St. John’s Regatta.

The funding will help enhance this year’s event at Quidi Vidi Lake.

Several improvements are planned for the 2026 Regatta, including a Regatta Eve concert at the Quidi Vidi Lake Bandstand, a Metrobus Park N’ Ride service to improve access to the site, upgraded audio-visual production and live entertainment, and race naming recognition for June Day and Regatta Day races. Medal presentations by the Premier, Minister, or a designate will also be featured, along with measures aimed at improving site access and the overall visitor experience.

The provincial funding is intended to support the continued growth of the event while enhancing the experience for participants, spectators and visitors.
