Government announced increase in vision care benefits for Long-Term Care and Community Support Services Clients

Minister of Seniors Craig Pardy has announced an increase in vision care benefits for clients in receipt of long-term care and community support services.


The increase, which came into effect on January 1, 2026, includes $100 for eye examinations, $290 for single vision eyeglasses, and $350 for bifocals.


Long-term care and community support clients can contact their financial assessment officer for more information on accessing benefits.
