Canada Post has returned nearly 300 Vote by Mail kits to the City of St. John's for residents in Goulds.
The kits were addressed to civic addresses, as some residents receive their mail through PO Boxes. Canada Post does not deliver civic-addressed mail when a PO Box is on file.
Returned kits are being held at City Hall and can be re-addressed or picked up. If you use a PO Box, please contact the City by dialling 311 or 754-CITY (2489) or emailing election@stjohns.ca to make arrangements.
Residents can also vote in person on election day, October 2, from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. at the Voting Centre in their ward. Acceptable identification is required. Voting Centres in Ward 5 are located at:
Shea Heights Community Centre – 130 Linegar Avenue
Goulds Recreation Centre – 509 Main Road
