Gas prices jump again amid Middle East tensions

Most fuel prices are up once again today, with gas jumping 4.8 cents per litre. The prices of diesel on the Island increased by up to 14.7 cents, while diesel in western Labrador went up by 11.1 cents.

The price of furnace oil heating fuel on the Island increased by 12.77 cents, and stove oil heating fuel in western Labrador will increase by 8.64 cents.

Propane heating fuel will decrease by 0.6 cents per litre.

The next price adjustment is on Saturday.

Gas prices are likely to continue to rise due to comments made by U.S. President Donald Trump when he said that peace with Iran is over.
