Gas prices hit a new record high



The cost of fuel is up to a new record high today.


On the Avalon Peninsula, it can cost as much as 159.1 for gasoline. Diesel is at 164.8.


The maximum allowable price in Central Newfoundland is 161.6 for gas and 167.3 for diesel.


In the Corner Brook area, it can cost 159.8 for gas and 165.5 for diesel.


In western Labrador, gasoline is 165.7 while diesel is at 172.9.


Gas prices were adjusted last night.
