The Gander and Area Food Bank has fundraised $20,000 from a fundraiser held at Mr. T's gas bar on Wednesday.

Mister T’s matched donations from the public. For the Food Bank, this year $10,000 was donated by the public and Mister T’s donated $10,000, resulting in $20,000 in food for families served by the Food Bank.

Mister T’s began these sorts of events in 2020 when a local youth, Gracie Mercer, needed a Therapy Dog. For that event, they donated all the proceeds from their Dairy Bar on that day, raising $3,400. They have held events every year since.

Patsy and John Snow bought Mister T’s about 20 years ago. When they started their business, one of their values was supporting their community and those who support their business.
