Future of North Atlantic Refinery Murky After Irving Announces Termination of Deal

The House of Assembly held an emergency meeting to discuss the future of the North Atlantic Refinery in Come by Chance.

The agreement with Irving Oil and NARL Holdings US LP for the purchase of the business commonly has been terminated.

Irving said in a statement that confidentiality provisions of the agreement prohibit the company from commenting further at this time.
