Funding Will Facilitate Water and Sewer Upgrades in the Town of Salmon Cove

The Town of Salmon Cove will receive money from the provincial government to support water and sewer system upgrades under the Municipal Capital Works Program.

The funding from the province and the town will be used for sewer connection for homes in the Pine Grove Avenue area, along with upgrades to the existing water system. On Ruben Penney Lane, upgrades will be made to the existing water line and a new sewer line and fire hydrants will be installed.

Budget 2024 includes more than $172 million for community infrastructure projects being completed under the Municipal Capital Works Program and the Investing in Canada Infrastructure Program.
